But this doesnít always work straight away. Once the ambition is awakened, your child will try again and again until the goal is reached. And then, of course, the next higher goal is already waiting. This gives your child a certain tolerance for frustration and teaches them that patience and perseverance are worthwhile!
Motor skills
Climbing is a fun way for your child to learn new movements that will help them improve their motor skills. » Why is there no sand included?
For maximum flexibility: Many parents use existing play sand or special therapy sand. For top marks, we recommend play sand (sensory sand, sensory sand, and fluid sand) (sold separately).

» Does the sand table really work for ADHD?«
Studies show that sensory play reduces hyperactive impulses. Our PlayTable was designed with educators following the principles of Kalff, Jung, Neumann, and Lowenfeld and also incorporates Eastern philosophies, particularly Zen Buddhism. We are more aligned with Kalff, who sees sand play as a free, protected space where children can create their inner images in the sand.
"Can I use regular sandbox sand?"
No, the sand should be free of contaminants, be fine and free-flowing when dry, with a soft, tactile quality. When wet, it should be coarse enough to be moldable. It should also be dust-free.
